Our story
About Us
Desk hardware built to survive being carried around — designed in Wildwood, Missouri, shipped free across the United States.
Kirnia makes desk hardware for people who work wherever they happen to be. We started with one problem, spent a long time solving it properly, and we would rather do that again than fill a catalogue.
Why we exist
Laptop stands are a solved problem, in theory. In practice almost every one you can buy asks you to choose: a rigid aluminium block that is genuinely stable but never leaves the desk, or something foldable and portable that wobbles the moment you type hard.
That trade-off is where Kirnia came from. We wanted a stand that could take a 16-inch laptop without flexing, then fold flat enough to slide into a bag beside it. Not a compromise between the two — both.
It took longer than we expected. The answer turned out to be magnets: a hinge system that locks into position by magnetic alignment rather than friction or plastic detents, so it holds firm under load and collapses in one movement when you are done. That became the AxisFold.
How we build
We do one thing at a time and we do not ship until it is right.
- One product, done properly. The AxisFold went through several rounds of prototyping before it earned a launch. We would rather have one product we can defend than ten we cannot.
- Materials that hold up. Anodised aluminium and reinforced hinges, because a stand that supports a $2,000 laptop should not be the cheapest thing on the desk.
- Tested at the limits, not the average. Every design is cycled through thousands of fold-and-unfold actions and loaded well past its rated weight before we sign it off.
- Honest specifications. The weight limits and compatibility notes on our product pages are conservative, not optimistic.
What we promise
Three things, and we put them in writing rather than in a banner.
- Free tracked shipping on every order. No minimum, no surcharge, no express tier that exists to make standard look slow.
- A proper window to change your mind. Unpack it, set it up, actually use it. If it is not right, send it back — the Refund Policy has the terms.
- A warranty against defects. If a hinge fails or a magnet loses its hold under normal use, we repair, replace or refund it and we cover the postage both ways.
Talking to us
Email reaches a person, not a queue. We answer support@kirnia.com within one business day, usually sooner, and we do not route you through a bot first. If you would rather speak to someone, call +1 (314) 227-9543.
We read every review, including the unflattering ones. Several details on the current AxisFold exist because a customer told us the previous version annoyed them.
Where we are
Kirnia is a brand operated by Klevo LLC, a Missouri limited liability company, based in Wildwood, Missouri. We sell and ship within the United States only. Design and support happen here; manufacturing happens with partners we have worked with long enough to trust.

What is next
More desk hardware, built the same way — solving one irritation at a time rather than filling a category. If you want to know when something new lands, join the list at the bottom of any page. We email rarely and never sell the list.
Three promises, not three banners.
Every order, every state, no minimum spend. The price on the product page is the price you pay.
Unpack it, set it up, put a laptop on it. If it is not right, send it back within 30 days of delivery.
Manufacturing defects covered for a full year, with postage paid in both directions if something fails.
